Paper to Pixel Project
Paper to Pixel was an experimental design project undertaken under the mentorship of Prof. John Cash in the UK. The project explored how architectural observations could inform contemporary fashion design through a transition from physical material experimentation to digital creation. Research began with studying patterns, rhythm, light, and shadow within Aberdeen’s built environment. These visual references were translated into intricate paper constructions where cutting, layering, and volume became tools to explore silhouette and structure. The work was then reinterpreted using photography, Adobe and AI-assisted digital fashion workflows to develop wearable concepts. The project demonstrated how craft-based exploration, architectural thinking, and digital technologies can merge within contemporary fashion practice.

Banana Waste to Wearable Textiles
This project explored the potential of converting agricultural waste from banana cultivation into paper-based material and transforming it into a fashion garment. The process investigated how discarded banana fibres and waste could be repurposed through paper-making techniques to create a new sustainable material for fashion applications.
The project further integrated technology within the garment, demonstrating how innovative materials and digital interventions can work together to create experimental, future-facing fashion while addressing issues of waste and circularity in the textile industry.

Sustainable Fashion Collection Project
This project explores how sustainable fashion collections can be developed through a digital-first design workflow. The collection investigates the relationship between textile development, engineered prints, and Zero-waste garment silhouettes to create visually expressive yet responsible fashion pieces. Inspired by organic textures, architectural forms, and rhythmic natural patterns, the project focuses on integrating print placement with garment construction. By aligning digital textile design with pattern development, the project demonstrates how aesthetic design decisions can also support material efficiency and more mindful production practices.

Gujarat Police Uniform Design Project
Gujarat Police Female Uniform Redesign Project
This project involved rethinking the Gujarat Police uniform system to improve functionality, comfort, and visual identity while respecting the institution’s legacy. The design process focused on understanding the operational needs of police personnel, climatic conditions, and material performance.
Through research, material exploration, and uniform system development, the project proposed updated silhouettes, improved fabric choices, and practical design solutions suited for long hours of field duty. The aim was to create a uniform that enhances mobility, durability, and professionalism while maintaining the recognizable identity of the Gujarat Police.
